Campus Mythenquai Zurich

The renovation and new construction of the headquarters of Zürich Versicherungsgessellschaft AG at Mythenquai are planned by the architect Krischanitz ZT GmbH. The realization is carried out by Implenia AG as total contractor. intep, which has already supported the planning from the perspective of the sustainability labels in the preliminary and construction project phases, will provide certification support up to and including commissioning (phase 53) for:

• MINERGIE-P-ECO certification: consulting and certification of the “ECO” part.
• LEED NC v3 Certification Platinum: Credits 4.1 to 4.4
• 2000-Watt-Areal certification: partial steps realization and certification.
• Targeting WELL v2 Pilot Platinum

In the Execution phase (Phase 52), the feasibility of WELL certification was assessed and found to be feasible. While LEED and ECO examine the environmental impact of the building project and 2000-Watt-Areal focuses on low energy consumption, the WELL certification focuses on the health and well-being of the users indoors.

Thus, all aspects of sustainability were already integrated into the planning of the Mythenquai Zurich building complex of Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, which is a prerequisite for the best possible certification result and minimizes the additional effort for this added value. The final certifications according to Minergie-(P)-ECO, LEED Platinum as well as 2000-Watt-Areal have been achieved. Pursuit of the WELL Certificate is in progress.
