Jennifer Furrer holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the ETH Zurich. During her studies, she focused on life cycle analyses of buildings and renovation strategies. She completed a internship program at intep and has since worked as a consultant in the field of climate protection and energy management.
Before and after my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at ETH Zurich, I was able to gain deeper structural design knowledge of during various internships at several different engineering firms. During my master’s studies, I became increasingly involved with sustainable development in construction, as well as furthering my education as an assistant scientist at the Institute for Timber Construction at the ETH. At intep, I am currently gaining a profound, all-around insight into construction sector sustainability. As a consultant, I assist the climate protection and energy management team in the (re)certification of 2000-watt sites, as well as assisting in sustainable building quality assurance and municipal energy planning.
