Report

Implementation of concrete measures to improve sustainability performance

The shopping centre “Le Terrazze”, which was built in 2012, is a four-floor shopping centre in the immediate vicinity of the centre of La Spezia in Italy and has a building area of 37,000 m2 (including parking spaces) and a land area of 55,000 m2. The property has a five-floor car park with approx. 2,750 parking spaces.

In the first step of the green due diligence analysis, intep determined the condition of the building and carried out an examination of the overall energy efficiency and operating costs. In order to fully exploit the optimisation potential, measures to improve sustainability performance were defined and practical recommendations for implementation were made. The successfully implemented measures have already resulted in a 3.5 % increase in the efficiency of energy and water consumption. Our experts have achieved a significant optimisation of building performance for the “La Terrazze” shopping centre, increasing the economic efficiency of the property and reducing its environmental impact.
