For this reason, a comprehensive Sustainable Construction Guidelines document was developed for ASIG Wohngenossenschaft, embedding sustainability as a strategic management principle throughout the entire real estate lifecycle.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guidelines serve as a central reference document at the level of vision and strategy. They define the thematic scope, formulate sustainability objectives, and establish a shared foundation for the planning, realization, and operation of buildings. The economic dimension addresses long-term viability and regional economics. The social and cultural dimension places user needs, health, and quality of life at the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guidelines are aligned with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snbs-hochbau.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Swiss Sustainable Construction Standard (SNBS)<\/a> as well as international and local sustainability goals. Alignment with the objectives of Agenda 2030 is transparently documented, reinforcing the organization&#8217;s strategic direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Vision to Implementation: The Sustainable Construction Specification<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As an integral component, a Sustainable Construction Specification was developed, translating strategic objectives into concrete action guidelines. It defines target values and evaluation criteria for relevant sustainability indicators and clarifies responsibilities in accordance with SIA project phases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For each construction project, a project-specific specification is created on this basis. The agreed targets set out therein are binding and are implemented and reviewed in a phase-appropriate manner. This creates a structured mechanism for quality assurance and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sustainability as an Integral Part of Decision-Making Processes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A central concern in developing the guidelines was to treat sustainability not as an additional requirement, but to embed it as an integral part of existing planning and decision-making processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To this end, the guidelines offer practical approaches and tools that account for the different roles, responsibilities, and areas of influence of the stakeholders involved. At the same time, care was taken to ensure that sustainable solutions can be implemented with a reasonable investment of time and cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By systematically anchoring sustainability objectives across the entire lifecycle \u2014 from planning through realization to operation \u2014 a robust foundation is established for future-oriented real estate strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Impact for the Organization<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the Sustainable Construction Guidelines, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asig-wohnen.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ASIG<\/a> has a powerful management tool that connects strategic ambitions with operational feasibility.
