The final report provides the first reliable data on diversity \u2013 the opposite of segregation \u2013 which is cited as a strength of the city in Zurich&#8217;s urban development mission statement.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Residential segregation refers to the uneven distribution of a population group\u2019s residential locations within a specific spatial unit. In this context, intep examined the distribution of different population groups across Zurich\u2019s urban area and their development over time. The study also analyzed how demographic changes and new housing developments have influenced the city\u2019s urban structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The findings offer insights into segregation in the city, its neighborhoods, and neighboring communities.
