Business Case for Sufficiency – Making Money with Sufficiency? (German only)
At the Innovation Forum “Business Case for Sufficiency,” organized by intep as part of the Swiss Green Economy Symposium, practical approaches to implementing sufficiency in businesses were discussed. This booklet provides an overview of the topic and summarizes the insights gained.
Less is more: As part of the ‘Swiss Green Economy Symposium’ on October 30, 2017, intep initiated and organized the forum ‘Business Case for Sufficiency.’ Personalities from the business world, academia, and public administration discussed, using concrete examples, how companies can contribute to sufficiency and create resource-efficient value chains in collaboration with their customers and suppliers.
The booklet highlights the challenges and opportunities that arise from promoting more conscious, reduced consumption, and shows how sufficiency can be established as part of sustainable business models – for example, through circular economy approaches.
