Owner Liability and Operator Responsibility (EiBeV): A Model for Implementation from a Facility Management Perspective (German only)
The IFMA Switzerland developed a model for implementing operator responsibility in practice. This publication explains how to apply the EiBeV model within your own organization.
The operation of properties and facilities is subject to a multitude of laws, regulations, standards, and other requirements. Together with 24 project partners, IFMA Switzerland (International Facility Management Association) created a model that serves as a guide for implementing owner liability and operator responsibility (EiBeV) from the perspective of facility management. This document, which explains the model, was developed under the supervision of René Sigg, a board member of IFMA Switzerland and managing director of Intep.
After an introduction, the modules of the model are described, which form the foundation for owner liability and operator responsibility. Additionally, tools and aids are presented and explained, which can be used as a basis for individual adaptations within your own organization. Three practical examples provide a comprehensive view that aims to enhance the understanding of owner liability and operator responsibility.
