Daniel Kliem

Daniel Kliem holds a degree in Sustainability & Business from the University of Leeds and earned his PhD in System Dynamics from the University of Bergen. His research focused on participatory methods for transitioning to a circular economy. He has extensive experience in leading sustainability projects for public institutions and businesses and possesses in-depth expertise in simulating sustainability strategies and decarbonizing vehicle fleets.

At intep, his work focuses on developing and implementing climate adaptation strategies at various political levels. He also emphasizes participatory approaches to engage relevant stakeholders in the solution-finding process and develops sustainable strategies for municipalities and businesses.
