Consultant

Jilong Zhu studied industrial engineering with a major in civil engineering at the Technical University Berlin. Through his participation in German-Chinese projects, he has gained extensive expertise in energy efficiency and sustainability as well as experience in implementing international projects.

About me

I became greatly interested in energy efficiency and sustainability during my master studies. Besides my studies I participated in training courses on passive house, sustainable building and LEED.

Furthermore, I participated in several German-Chinese collaborative projects on energy efficiency and sustainability, e.g. “Sino-German Eco-Cities”, “Sino-German energy efficient buildings” etc. This enabled me to learn a lot about project work. These experiences, which involved technical and organizational challenges, along with the implementation of international projects will help me support the knowledge-exchange with our Chinese partners.

In order to achieve significant progress in sustainability, China could benefit from European know-how on environmentally friendly technologies. Intep is greatly contributing to this objective and it is something in which I am very interested.
