Energy Networking in 2000-Watt Sites (German only)

In this article, published in 2019 in the special issue “Real Estate and Energy II” by Espazium Verlag, we discuss the implementation and success of energy supply strategies within the first certified 2000-Watt sites in Switzerland.

We highlight how nearly 30 settlements and projects have been successfully certified as 2000-Watt sites. The article focuses on the systems used for electricity and heat supply: most of these sites utilize renewable heat sources, and photovoltaic systems are also widespread. Additionally, we address the role of social factors.

These sites serve as exemplary models for the pursuit of a sustainable energy future. Resilience in energy supply is crucial, ensuring preparedness for potential disruptions and the development of alternative solutions.
