Accelerate refurbishment: Guidelines for a higher refurbishment rate (German only)

As part of the SAN-CH project, intep was commissioned by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy to investigate how the renovation rate in Switzerland can be increased by bringing together owners and experts. We have summarized the findings in this guide as practice-oriented instructions for cities and municipalities.

To meet climate targets, the renovation rate of buildings must be doubled. The SAN-CH project investigated how municipalities can contribute to this. The aim was to bring owners together with specialist companies such as construction companies and architectural firms to coordinate their respective needs and knowledge and thus initiate renovation projects.

The guide offers step-by-step instructions – starting with the identification of refurbishment potential through to the networking of stakeholders. Baden, Glarus, Winterthur and the canton of Geneva, all catalysts in the project, provide concrete case studies for implementation. The guide is rounded off with a collection of resources.
