Intep at the first China-EU Science Forum
The first China-EU Science Forum took place in Frankfurt from October 20 to 21. Feng Lu-Pagenkopf presented the Chinese-Swiss cooperation project Zero Emission Building (ZEB).
Scientists, researchers, and entrepreneurs from China, Europe, and around the world gathered to discuss technological innovation, cross-border cooperation, and future developments. The science forum was attended by more than 200 Chinese and international experts and scientists, while over 50,000 viewers followed the event via the online live-streaming platform. The main goal of the forum is to strengthen academic exchange and collaboration between China and Europe, as well as to promote networking and integration of top talents and innovative companies.
Feng Lu-Pagenkopf presented the Sino-Swiss ZEB project
Dr. Feng Lu-Pagenkopf highlighted the potential of international collaboration for a climate-friendly construction sector at the subforum “CO2 Neutrality and Renewable Energy”. She provided insights into Chinese energy efficiency standards, presented lighthouse projects, and explored the opportunities surrounding the topic in China. The aim of the cooperation project is to build and disseminate expertise, thereby strengthening ong-term competencies in reducing emissions in buildings.
The successful organization of the first China-EU Science Forum marks a new level of collaboration between China and the EU in science and technology. forum has not only strengthened academic exchanges, but also provided new ideas and solutions for global scientific and technological innovation.
