Recycling and Disposal

Recycling and disposal concepts

Recycling and disposal concepts apply to currently unavoidable waste for which circular economy strategies are not or not yet effective. Intep supports building contractors, real estate owners, companies and municipalities with recycling and disposal concepts for optimal resource utilization, making efficient use of waste as a resource wherever possible.

Tons of waste are still generated every year, with construction waste accounting for a very large proportion and municipal waste also representing a considerable amount. The goal is to further reduce waste volumes and thus substantially increase recycling and recovery volumes. We support analyses of the quantity and percentage of expected or occurring waste, the definition and optimization of structural, technical and operational requirements of recycling and disposal processes, as well as the sensitization of residents, employees or facility management service providers.

Intep supports owners of buildings and real estate as well as companies and municipalities with recycling and disposal concepts for optimal resource utilization and, whenever possible, for the efficient use of waste as a resource. For example, we cover the following aspects:

  • Analysis of expected or already accumulating waste quantities and percentages.
  • Definition and optimization of structural, technical and operational requirements for recycling and dis-posal processes incl. determination of required disposal areas, collection systems, processes and responsibilities
  • Explanation and training in the operational implementation of disposal processes, optimization of sort-ing and collection, processing of waste / recyclables as well as environmentally sound and correct disposal of hazardous waste
  • Control and monitoring of the implementation of the concepts on site or by means of statistics and success analyses for continuous improvement
  • Comparison of variants of measures according to environmental compatibility and economic efficiency, e.g. by means of life cycle assessment and life cycle costing
  • Sensitization and training of residents, employees and facility management service providers regarding waste avoidance, reuse of materials and separation.
