Christian Schmid is a geographer and socioeconomist. Since 2016 he has been head of the Socioeconomic Consulting and Research business unit at intep. His focus is on the sustainable development of neighborhoods, municipalities/cities and regions, analysis and monitoring of stakeholder processes as well as on user behavior and sufficiency.
My work encompasses the preparation of analyses, expert reports and studies on the sustainable development of neighbourhoods, municipalities/cities and regions as well as the development of site analyses, assessments and evaluations.
In interdisciplinary and often complex consulting and research projects, I develop solutions for the public and private sector in the fields of energy, real estate, urban and regional economics, through the use of participatory processes, education and innovation. I take a keen interest in the user perspective throughout the life cycle of real estate, for example in energy-related decisions.
